The Piedmont Trail is a walking, hiking and running 1.2 mile loop situated within a 10 acre hardwood forest and wetland on the Mason Science & Technology Campus near the Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center.
Volunteers will spread mulch on the trail and around elements of The EDGE's challenge course; thus protecting both the environment and course participants.
Bring water to stay hydrated, gloves if you have them and a snack. Wear a smile, comfortable clothing and closed toed and heeled shoes that you won't mind getting dirty or wet.
Volunteers will gather under the blue and white tent accessed through the split rail fence under the power lines.
THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT!
A pizza lunch will be provided by University Life - Mason's Science & Technology Campus.
